TO THE EDITOR 0? "THE FRESS." Sir.—l was very pleased to see that some. of your readers are interesting themselves in this subject. I h»™ often wondered why the b.I.C.A. Society have not done something in this matter, but thought the expense was their drawback, not knowing only ttfenty pounds was .needed. Surely there are enough merciful people in Christchurch to make up so small a sum.—-'Yours, etc., n ANOTHER LOVER OF ANIMALS.
