CANTERBURY PRESS CLUB.
Mr Harry G. Musgrove's Celebrity Vaudeville Company wfcre the guests of the Canterbury Press Club evening on the occasion of Miss Shields a first visit, to Ohristchurch. There was a large attendance of members, and an v>;rttraW a tiroer axcine was submitted, the flowing contributing:—Miss Ella Shields and Miss Tree (introduced by U. Tree) Messrs Maunco Steradale, Con Moreni, Cahill and Brooke, R. C. Zimmerman, and T. Lawrence. Mias Shields sang for• the first tune m public her song, "the World's AU Wrong." Appropriate speeches were made by Miss Ella Shields, Mr A. M. Miller (on behalf of Harry G. Musgrove), and Mr G. Hutchison,
