REPRESENTATION OF DOMINIONS.
STATEMENT BY MB MASSEY.

The Australian Press Association interviewed Mr Ma6sey in reference to the American proposal that representatives of the Dominions should be inc'uded in the British delegation to the Washington Conference. Mr Mnssey said he regretted it would be impossible for him to leave New Zealand to attend the Conference. He expected unusually important business to be dealt with at the forthcoming session in New Zealand, which would demand his unremittijjg attention and constant attendance.
THE CHINESE DELEGATION. ' ! (Received August 17th, SMO p.m.) PEKING, August 16. The Chinese delegation to the Washington Conference, headed by the Foreign Minister, Dr. Yen, will consist of thirty-two members, t including one chief, four associate delegates, ten councillors, and sixteen clerks.
THE AMERICAN COMMISSION.

It is announced that Senator H. C. Lodge (Republican) will be a member of the American Commission at the Disarmament Conference.
