ST. JOHN AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION.
Tha general committee of the Canterbury and West Coast Centre of the St. John Ambulance Association met lost night. Present —Lieut-Col. F. B. Creswell (chairman), Mesdames Whitaker, Watkins, H.' Smith, Miss Ollivier, Messrs Hodd nott, Bowker, and Ronaldson, and Die. Louisson and Borrie. It was decided to allow the Red Cross Division the use of the lecture room one morning a week. The balance-sheet showed credit balance at Union Bank JBIOI 0s 7d, credit at P.O. S.B. £ll2l 7s lid. . , . • . # A letter was received from' the Tramway Boan2 acting that the Ambulance men should have a. flag which could be shown at football matches, etc., so that they might be:easily found in case of accident. The suggestion was approved. •. • It waa reported that various classes m first aid and home nursing wero being' carried on and that good progress was being mad.e.
