TO THE EDITOR OF "tIIE PRESS."' Sir,—l lhave been waiting for an abler pen than mine- to vindicate Lord Kitchener's name, and read with dolight your leading article in this morning's "Press." Surely the sportsmanlike spirit one knows Englishmen pos-. sess will prevent Lord Esher's book from doing much harm to Kitchener's mipimorv, which will live on in the nation's heart as a man whose work for the Empire ought never to be forgotten. —Yours, etc., CRICKET..
