THE NEW POLITICAL PARTY.

Tho first meeting in Invercargil] of adherents to the newly-formed LiberalLabour Party, was held this evening, when there was a fairly large number of supporters present. Mr O. E. Statham (leader) and Mr E. Kellett outlined the policy of the party, and stated that strong support had been given to the movement in all parts of the Dominion. A National Executive Council had been formed in Wellington, while district executive committees had been appointed in Auckland, Wellington, Christohurch, and Dunedia. After hearing the addresses, those present decided' to form an executive committee in lnvercargill. A vote of thanks was accorded to the speakers, and best wishes for the party's future successes were expressed.
