Lyttelton of 49 days, the five-masted barque France sailed yesterday afternoon for Wellington, where she will complete loading for Home. The France, which is the largest sailing ship in the world, arrived at Lyttelton on June 27th with a cargo of 7COO tons of Welsh coal for the Railway Department. On. completion, of dischargo she loaded a, part cargo of wool, tallow, arid sundries here for Home, at reduced freight rates. She should lv> able to fill the balance of her space at Wellington. A light southerly was blowing yesterday, and come nice manoeuvring was required on, the part of the tug Oamteiimry and the auxiliary tug Te Whs.ka to get the huge vessel out of the inner harbour. Captain T. Hunter wae pilot in charge. The molea were cleared at 3.15 p.m., and the Heads 50 minutes later. By this time the vessel was oarrying lower and upper toppail?, which considerably the tug. When dropped five miles off the- Heads the France was carrying in addition lower topgallants, a staiysail or two, and a couple of headnails. The Woot/ton is due her© to-morrow night from Wellington, and after completing discharge wiU go on the slip for cleaning and painting. She will be reedy to sail for Wellington again about Monday nest.

Friday for Westport, where she will load for Wellington. I The Wingatui has been delayed at amrl by rain, and is not due here until Saturday. She is to sail' for Auckland on Monday. Tiho lioranui is due hero on. Sunday irom Tim-aiu to load for Kapler and Gisborne, for which polls she will Bail on Monday. _ The Whangape, which arrived in the stream late on Sunday night from Fremanue, will complete discharge of her cargo of .hardwood by Saturday, but her subsequent movementa are not yet announced. The Koromiko left Newcastle on Saiturday with coal Bind genewd cargo for Picton and Lytteltc-n. She is due here on- August 24th. The Wairuitta, duo here in, tho morning from ■Wellington to discharge 600 tons of San Francisco cargo, is to aail fo-monrow night for Duneddn, Melbourne, and Sydney.
