STUDENTS' PROCESSION.
_ *- The .annual Canterbury College procession is to l>e held on Friday. I'reparations have been going on for many weeks past, and the students' leaders seam confident that the result will quito eclipse the efforts of other university centres. The procession promises to be considerably larger than it was Inst rear it being estimated th;t nearly 800students wil. taiie part. A largo variety of topical "stunts" has been arranged, and i<riday'B parade tarougutiie city should be most iaughabie. The procession will start at UO a.m., and tho "standing orders" of the city will probably be reversed for the rest ot tho morning. The Studunte' Ilex this year is Mr &., G, Archer, who, with the Queen, Mr B. W. SaopherxL will exercise regal »woy over an extraordinary variety, of subjeotf.
