LINCOLN COLLEGE OLD BOYS.
The first annual reunion since the war of the Lincoln College Old Boys'- Association was held on Wednesday last, at the College, flome sixty old boys and'staff MBambled' at the College at 3.30, and after •fternpoa- tea bad been dispensed by Mrs -Alexander, , a Tiait. of. inspection .was paid '. to the ■ farm. Particular interest was shown ia the recently imported Shorthorn bull and the stud sheep. - - - -. • In the evening the reunion dinner ww held in the College dining hall, after whicli "a lengthy toast list was,-gone through,, the president of the Association, Mr R. E. Alexander, presiding. After,;.the, toast of "The King," the following toasts were honoured:—"Fallen Comrades," proposed by; Mr H. A. Knight? "The College,'" proposed' by Mr A. M. Wright, and responded to by. Mr H. A. Knight j "The Board, of Governors/' proposed by Mr John Cunningham, and'responded to by Messrs H.,A. Knight, R. .W. Loohhead, and Dr. Chas. Chilton; "Tho Staff," proposed by Mr A. Wi. Cargill, and responded To by Messrs B. E. Alexander, Dr. Hilgendorf, and Mr A. Taylor; "Past Members of the Staff," proposed by... Mr G. H. .Holford, and responded ,to by Mr Geo. Grey; "The Old Boys' Aasdciation," proposed by Mr A. Taylor, and responded to by Messrs G. H. Holford, L. R. MoFarlane, and Y. T. Sband; "Present Students," proposed by Mr N. E. NeaL and responded to by Mr H. R. Miller; 'The Ladjes," propo&ed by Mr L. B. Scott, and responded to by Mr W. Evan's. . . . - ■ Musical items" were provided by Messrs Calder, MfeCaskill-, Thomas Mackintosh, Brooks Bros., 'and. Holford, Mr Bennett acting as accompanist. All present voted the reunion a complete success, and nest year it is hoped to spend a whole day at tie College, whea friendly games of golf, tennis, and football will bs> arranged against the staff and students.
