The Rev. C. Perry has invited the City Council- to attend Divine service at St. Michael's Church on Sunday, October 2nd, at 11 a.m., on the occasion, of the annual festival of the church. He added that tihe Church Band would consider it an honour to escort the Council from the Council Chambers to the church. The Council considered the invitation at tht. meeting last night. Cr. H. F. Herbert said that as the councillors were "all angels" Ihe would move that the invitation De accepted. Cr. J. A. Flesher said he would second the motion if the band proposal were out! out. This the Council agreed to.
