NEW PEACE TREATIES.
- ♦ AMERICA'S GBEAT TASK. CBv (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received August 14th, 11.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, August 13. It is reported that the United States will negotiate separate Peace Treaties with Germany and Austria-Hungary, the latter differing from the former. The German Treaty will be based on certain provisions of the Treaty of Versailles, while the Austro-Hungarian Treaty will be drawn up more like an agreement of amity and commerce.
