The hon. secretary of the Christchurch Bri-tish-Israel Association has received a communication from Mr Herbert Garrison, Secretary-General of the BritishIsrael World Federation, dated June 2nd, an extract from which reads:—"We are greatly Relighted that your Premier, ths Right Hon. W. F. Masaey, P.C., has become your patron. He is now in London, and I have asked him to preside at one of our meetings in con- • nenon with the British-Israel World Fideration Congress, which opens early' in July. I have also invited him to a seat on the platfonn_ on the occasion of the official oongr- 68 opening, when our Royal Family is to be xepresented by the presence of our chief patron— Princess Alice, who will probably be panied, aa on the last occasion, by her husband, the Queen's brother.
