CHAMPIONSHIP REGATTA. (P&KM ASSOCIATION TTLEGIU*.) BLENHEIM, February IG. The annual Championship Regatta oi the Now Zealairi Amateur Rowing Association wao held at Picton to-day. Results:— Maiden. Fours—Wellington 1, Picton 3, Poverty Bay 3. Blenheim ana Wairau also started. "Won by two lengths. Time, omiii 4H 2-Sth sec. Junior Pairs—Wairau 1, Poverty Bay 0, West End No. 1 8. Picton, Star» and Wansanui also started. An exciting finish, th> placed crews finishing in a bunch, 'lime, 6min 65 4-sth Tenths' Fours—Star 1, West En 3 2, Wairau 8. Also started—Blenheim, Poverty Bay, awd Picton. West End led early, but Star rowed them down and won by a length. Timo, Gmin 10 1-Sth »ec. Junior Fours —West End 1, Wairau 2, Wanganui Union S. Picton and Star also started. West End almost immediately assumed the lead, followed closely by Wairau and Wangariui Union. This 0 ,- dor was maintained throughout, and an excellent finish resulted in West End winning by half a length Time, 9min fisec. Champion* Fours—Wanganni Union 1, Ammoho '2, Blenheim 8. Won by half a length. A great race. Time, 12min 10 2-sth sec. Champion Sculls—.St. Clair (Hamilton) 1, Sharp (Wanganui Union) 2. The race was rowed in eenu-dftTkneas. Time, lOmin 17 3-6 th eeo.
