AMALGAMATION PROPOSAL (PBSSS ASSOCIATION TELEORIXB.) H AMTLTOX f February 3. At a largely attended meeting a? railway men. at Fraukton, tlx following resolution was carried:—"That tins meeting favouA tho federation of tie three railway societies—Railway Ofi. cers' Institute and Engine-drh-ers", Firemen's, and Cleaners' Associations, and the Amalgamated Society of Bailway Servants. WELLINGTON. February a Regarding the proposed federation of tho three railway societies, Mr 31. J. Mack (general secretary r of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants) stated to-day that he had received no direct intimation as yet that the resolution had been passed.
