FIRES.
« (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) HAMILTON. December 13. A fire was'started this morning bj- a heater in the parcels office of the Fiankton Railway station,, and ran up the wall and along tho roof. The -building v«-as not greatly injured by,the fire, but considerable damage ivas done by water. WELLINGTON, December 13. A fire- occurred this evening in premises on Lambton quay owned by Gilmer and XlcGuiro and occupied by S. Dromgool, gentlemen's outfitter. The building was seriously damaged, and a great portion of the stock was destroyed. The contents -were insured for £2000 in tho South British office. Tho buildinec Tras insurod in the Atlae office, but the amount could not be ascertained to-night. - ■
