The Minister of Commerce to-dny discussed tho proposed co-operative agree7\iont between tho big shipowners and the "Watersiders' Federation. It was decided to appoint a, committee to watch tho movement and. report to the Chamber, als'o that the Minister of Commerce be asked to inquire as to tho terms of the agreement. Tfc wns pointed out during the discussion that only the large ehipownera were concerned in tho proposed agreement, and that it was necessary to )tb euro that its working would not detrimental to tho smaller shipping companies.
