♦ The Christchurch Professional Orchestra's twelfth. Sunday concert was given before a lanre midior.oe last niglit in tbo Liberty Theatre.' The orchpstra, under iho baton of Mr Albert Bidgood, played iho following nambors: —Overture, "Fing-al's Gave" (Mendelsohn), "An Hasten) Eomssw" (Haiues), suite, "Scenes Pittoresque", 1 March, 2 Air do Ballet, 3 Ar.jrclus, 4 Fete Boherne (Massenet), two piece-3. a "Potdco Valsante" (Poldini), b "Humoresko" (Dvorak), grand overture, "1S12" (Tschaikowslcy.), T.-.e violin solo, "Gipsy Airs" (Sarasate), was played by Miss Gladys Vincent, and' Mis 3 Millicent Jennings sang "Serecata" (Bragn), with a violin and harp tccompanimoni, and "Tho Harvester's 2*;ght Song" with a full orchestral eccoicrianiment.
