Citizens are requested to hoist their flags during Thursday, in honour of the visit to the city paid by the new Governor-General, and to lower them to half-mast for the two minutes , period of silence at 11 a.m., in commemoration of Armistice Day. The City Council flag will be hoisted and lowered in this way.
