« The Manawatu Show, which concluded yestewlay, was a record one so far 0,3 tho quality and numbers oi dairy stock were concerned. Competition in this section was between thres breeder®—the Hon. Sir Hcalon Rhodes, 'he Yv'eraroa Development Farm, and ilr C. Forster Pratt (Palmerston Xorth). Sir Hoaton Rhodes annexed first prize for two-year-old bull, and fir?t and third for cow \viih calf at foot, and also second in a cod bulls and yearling heifer. Tho only other Canterbury " exhibitor was llr G. Murray <Lake Tekapo). who showed two Highland bulla. Canterbury judges officiating at the ■=how were Messrs R. E. Alexander (Lincoln College) in bee: Shorthorns, and Mr AV. B. Andrew (Maheno) in Southdowns and Shropshircs. ____________
