ANDERSON—BOYD. Our London correspondent writes: — Mr A. V. Anderson, of Lytfcelton, was married on August 10th, to Miss Jessie Paton Boyd, second daughter of Mr and Mrs James P. Boycl, of Carrick Villa, Maybolo, Ayifclure, and the honeymoon has. bv.en spent in the ■Western Highlands. Tfie bride, who i was given away by her father, won- a j dress of white satin, embroidered with; silk, and her veil was fastened with a wreath of orange blossom. She was attended by her sister, Miss Jean Boyd, and lier .brother, Mr G. T. Boyd, was the best man. The wedding took place at St. Peter's Church, Upper liiccarton. on Wednesday, September 29th, of Mr Stanley Symister, j'oungest son of Mr and Mrs H. Symister; of Lower Eiccarton. to Miss Mary Hodgkinson, eldest daughter of. Mr and Mrs E. Hodgkinson, of Upper ■ Riccarton. The ceremony was performed by the Rev.' H. York, vicar of St. Peter's, yssistcd by the Rev. 1. Williams, vicar of Opawa. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked very charming in a navy costume and black panne velvet liat, relieved with gold and a pretty shade of blue, carrying a lovely white showerbouquet with gold streamers. After the ceremony a large number of relatives and friends were entertained at the residence of the bride's parents, and the usual toasts honoured. Later, the happy oouple left amidst showers of good wishes and confetti, for Auckland and New Plymouth, where the honeymoon is being spent. CAMPION—ROGATSKI. A quiet wedding took place at the Roman Catholic • Cathedral on Thure-. day, when Minnie, the eldest daughter of*Mr Frank Rogatski, Ladbrooks, was married to Charles, the eldest son of Mr li. Campion, of Kalswell. The bride was''given'away by her father. Miss J. Burkett was bridesmaid, and Mr Loo Erickson best man. The ceremony was performed by Father Benneto. A quiet, but pretty, wedding was solemnised at St. Mary's Church, Addington, on Tuesday, the contracting parties being Mr Eric Walter Donald, eldest son oi' Mrs -Donald and the lato Mr J. F. Donald, > or Leeston, and Minnie, third daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Wiliiams, of Kowai Bush. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Canon Bean. 'J 1 lie bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming frock of palo pink crepe de chine, and her veil was beautifully hand-embroidered. Mr J. Purser acted as best man, and Miss Eva Williams, sister of the bride, who wore pole blue georgette, was the bridesmaid. The bride travelled in a smart brown cloth costume and vicux rose hat.
