CASUALTIES.

An inquest upon tho body of Mrs Jbbetson, who died suddenlv on Monday afternoon, was held by the Coroner, Mr S. E. McCarthy, yesterday afternoon. Medical evidence was given that death was due to heart failure, accclerated by a cirrhotic liver and nephritis of both kidneys. A verdict in accordance with the modical evidence was returned. Mr V. G. Day, Coroner, held an inquest yesterday afternoon on tho body of an infant aged 18 months, named Hubert Charles Wilkinson, who died at his parents' residence, 165 Bolleston street, on Monday. Evidence was given by the mother and Ih-. Temple, the latter deposing that death was due to congestion of the lungs, following on whooping cough.and measles. A verdict was returned accordingly.
