Ross, tho chaTlenger for the America Cup, interviewed, said the people of Canada were enthusiastic about the challenge. -He did not think it would be difficult to raise the money required. The yacht will be schoor.ar ringed and of fisherman type, and entirely of Canadian design and construction, and manned and commanded by Canadian fishermen. It will be able to go off-shoro in any weather. , Mr Hoes explained that the idea' of employing Mr Charles E. Nicholson (who designed Shamrock IV.) to design the yacht was changed, because Mr Nicholson insisted on too much of the work on the challenger being" done in England.
