Uain stopped the Davis (Tup play at E-aai-bourn« during tho Singles between Johnston (United Staler) and Gobevt (Franco). John-t-ton was leading. Johnston beat Gobert, 6-3, 7-G G-3; Tilden beat Laurcntz, 4-6, G-2, 6-1, 6-3. In the Doubles Tilden and Johnston beat Gobert and Laurens, G-2, 6-3, G-2. EXHIBITION CAIIES. LONDON, July 9.
