Sir Boilby Alston, British Minister to China, is en route to England, carrying petitions signed by a score of leading Chinese commercial and student bodies, protesting against the renewal of tlio Anglo-Japanese Treaty. PABIS, JuJy "The Paris correspondent of the Chicago "Tribune" says it is stated in diplomatic circles in Paris that Great Britain is seeking a new treaty with the United States, in order to protect her interests in the Far East.
