BRACKENFIELD HOUNDS.
The Bracke-nfield Hunt Club m A at Mr A. Wotherspoom'6, o_ord, on Saturday last. Hounds wore laid on in a paddoak near tio iornestawL There was good scent r_i plenty of hares, and a kill took place on Mr \V. Gilchrist's property, after a ran lasting twenty mintrtes. Hounds :o?e then laid on in Mx D. Hawke's paddock, but did not succeed in getting- another run before ranch, which was provided by Mrs If. "Wofcherspoon. Aitor luncJi hc.unda v.-or-? laid off in ilr Sam McKie's paddock, and had several sbsrt rons. which eventually drew the pack fo Tie-.v Hill, the- heaviest hunting eoumTy in the. district. Scent was keen, and hare? very plentiful, but no lull resulted. The weather being wot and foggy, it was decided to draw lioimds for the dav. On the whole a g-ood day's hunting was enjoyed, both by "direct followers and those who were present a; spectators. Ridin". were: —Mr R. Ferguson (Huntsman) orl Nancy, Mr J. (Whip) on Tim, Misses S.
