There has been little shipping in the port durin" tho week, as compared with the congestion of a fortnight ago, and there were sufficient trucks to keep pace with the demand. During the latter half of tho week manv watersiders have been unemployed. Tho'last of tho overseas vessels, tho Arawa, left port Yesterday, but will bo replaced this raorniiis by tho City of Winchester from Wellington. Overrca vessels duo next week are tho Sofala, Ariosto, Westrneath, and tho , intercolonial collier Koromiko. Local col- ■ liers due are the Canopus, Ngakma Kamo, ' and perhaps orvo other "K boat before the end of the week. Timber vessels due are the Ngatoro. Orepuki, and John. The Sydney ! hoiti, Manuka, will bo here on Wednesday. Tho Itiverina. left Sydney for Auckland on ' Thursday. Sho will not come south this trip, but will leavo Auckland on Wednesday 0 Westralia. has been delayed at Wellineton, and will not arrive at Lyttelton until Tuesday.
