According to advices from Spa, the Allied Prime [Ministers considered Turkey's reply to the Treaty terms, and decided that it was impossible to make| important alterations. They ordered that a counter-reply be sent, containing an ultimatum that the Porte must consent within 10 drys. (Australian and N.Z. Cable. Association.) LONDON, July 7. An official communique states that the Spa Conference, in the morning, examined the Turkish observations on the Turkish Peace Treaty, and agreed that it was impossible to modify any of the principal clauses as requested by the Turkish Government, but appointed a small expert committee, empowered to consult with the military authorities, and to draft a reply. This will deal with certain minor points, on which the Turkish memorandum established a reasonable case, and will require the signature of the Treaty within 10 days of the presentation of the reply. [Broussa is a city in Asiatic Turkey, at the foot of Mount Olympus, 57 miles south-south-east of Constantinople.] (Reuter's Telegrams.) LONDON, July S. A message from Constantinople to-day says British naval forces occupied Moudania and Kemlik, on tho Sea of Marmora north of Broussa, on July 6th, with 'only slight and ineffective opposition. A small force of 657 men reconnoitred eastward of the Gulf of Ismid, and cleared that region. Snipers on Beikos heights opened fire on the battleship Iron Duke with ma-chine-guns. The ship replied by shelling the position. The process of cleaning up the haunts of the brigands in the vicinity of Constantinople is now commencing.
