BRITISH MINERS' THREAT.

The Conferenco of tho Miners' Federation passed a resolution advising the delegates to the forthcoming Trades Union Congress that unless the Government withdraws the troops from Ireland and censes the production of munitions for Russia and Ireland, a general order to "down tools" will be recommended, with ballots whereever necessary. INTIMIDATION. LONDON, July 7. Sergeant Reilly, the principal witness in a murder trial at Armagh, following the death of a policeman, was kidnapped from the street. Search failed to disclose his whereabouts. The Waterford Assizes have been abandoned, as the jurymen did not attend owing to the threats of violence. (Received July 9th, 8 r>.m.) LONDON, July 8. Reilly, the missing witness at Armagh, has been released. He says he was hustled by a disguised man into a motor-car, blindfolded, and gagged, and taken to an unknown house, where he was kept until early morning.
