"VTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, at * -1A Spocial Meeting of thn Evto County Council held on MONDAY, the third day of May, 1920, the following RESOLUTION wua ' pasacd, and will be submitted for continuation at the subsequent Meeting of the Council to be held 071 MONDAY, the seventh day 01 Juno, 1920: — RESOLUTION. SPECIAL ORDER AUTHORISING LOA>3 OF -JKIOOO, 1920. In pursuance and in cxercise of the powers (vested in it in that behalf by clause (d) o£ Section 10 of "The Local Bodies Loans Act. • 1913" («ii Order-in-Council .in pursuance of Section 3 of "Tile Lake Colaridgc Wator Power Act, 1915," having been issued conferring the powers of a Borough Council upon the said County Council) and of all other Acts and powers it in that behalf enabling (an Order-in-Council in pursuance of Section 20 of "The Financo Act, 1919," having been obtained authorising the Council to borrow) Hie Eyre County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order »9 follows'• 1. THAT the Council proceed to Raise * LOAN of Tlireo Thousand Pounds (£3000) for the purpose of supplying. eloctricity within the Eyre Riding >;{? the eaid County. 2. THAT the said Loan bo oalied "TheEyrfl County Council Electric Lighting Loan of JE3OOO, 1920." 3. THAT the currency of the eaid Loan shall be for a period of thirty-six and one half (36i) years, commencing on the first day of June, 1920, and maturing on the first day of December, 195i>. 4. THAT the interest. on tho said Loan shall be at the rate of five pounds five shillings (£5 ss) per centum per annum, and ehall be payable half-yearly on tho first days of December and June. 5. THAT the form of security fox the repayment of principal end interest on tho said Loan shall bo Three (3) Debentures of One Thousand l Pounds (£1000) each and relative coupons in a form in conformity with the provisions of "Tho Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913." \ 6. THAT the Council, doth hareby appropriate end pledge for tho repayment of the said Loan and the interest, sinking! fund, and other charges thereon, tho Special Rate of one-seventeenth of a penny in tho pound sterling on the ratc--1 able value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in tho Eyre Riding of tho said County. 7. THAT the principal and interest nha.ll bo payable at tho Bank of New Zealand, "Wellington. 8. THAT tho first year's interoet ami coat of raising the loan and sinking fund bo paid out of the said loan. The Common.
