Tommy Burns has announced that ho is procured to put tro £'1000 or £2000 against Beckett for the Empire Championship. _ If he wins be is willing to meet Carpentier. Burns says he is convinced he can "coma back," but he would not meet Dempsey, because he would have no earthly chance.
