OBITUARY.
A Press Association, message from Auckland announces tbe death from "heart failure, of Mr Henare Kaihau, a former member of Parliament. Mr Ivaihan ivas a son of the late Chief Kaihau, of Waiutu, and -was born in 1855. He was educated a_i Archdeacon Maunsell's School, Waikato. As member for the Western Maori district, he sat in the House of Representatives through five Parliaments, from Itecem"oer, 1596, to November, 1911.
