He is residing for honours in history. AT CAMBRIDGE. From information so far received, Jesus College, Cambridge, has tho largest number of Now Zealand man. for there aro fivo, namely: Robert AlacIntyre, of Oamaru, who is taking law honours, and who has been iifeying football; Harold Cuthbert McCarthy, of Wellington, whose subject is engineering; 51. J. Seott, of *Orari, who is taking natural scicnco honours and agriculture (ho is tho holder of a N.Z.E.F. scholarship, and. held <i commission in tho Xew Zealand Itiflo Ilrigado); Christopher M. Maclean, of Palinerston, who is taking history; and Charles L. of Ihilierau, SouthLand, who is working for English honours.

Tho three New Zealand men at Christ's College. Combridgo, are: K. JFawcett (Nelson). studying agriculture; A. A. Macnab (Nelson College), who Is taking law; and H. V. Soarle, M.Sc. Otago University, of Oamani, who takes physics. All these are holders N.Z.E.F. scholarships. Captain E. J. Fawcett was in the Canterbury Regiment, Lieutenant H. V. Searlo was with tho A.1.R., and Major A. A. Maenab was with tho New Zealand Riflo Brigade. Mr C. K. Fewernker, M_A. Canterbury College, served with the N.Z.M.C., and was awarded a N.Z.B-F. scholarship last January. Ho is doing advanced research work in botany, at Downing College, Cambridge. In New Zealand he is a lecturer at Canterbury College. At King's College, Cambridge, t&ere are two New Zen binders. One, Mr N. I». Elder (of Wangnnui school, and Wairuahoe'*, is studying mechanical scicnce. The other. Mr J. E. Davidson, coines from Duncdin, and is a medical stiident. Messrs Jack S. Smith (from Wangnnui school, whose homo is at Fairiie), and Alexander T. Young (Wellington College), nro at Pembroke. An Old Boy of Nelson Collecro now at Emmanuel, CamUridee, is K. R. J. Saxon, who reached England at tho beginning of October. He is studying physics, chemistry, and botany for tho first part of the scionco trrpow, and ho expects to remain in England for two or three years. He is tho holder of a Fcholarship, and his studies were interrupted by tho war. ITe served in the N.Z.E.F. Saxon's ramo has already Ijecn prominent in University Rugby matches.
