BRANCH FORM2D AT KAIAPOI. With tho object of forming a local branch of the Returned Soldiers Association, a well attended. meeting was held in the Orill Hall, liaiapoi, last night ilr W. H. Stark protided. _ Sir W. K. Leafier, seeretary of the Cbristchurch Association, addressed the meeting tnd explained the Association had already done for returned men in the way of obtaining from tlis Government increaaod in rotrospectivc allowances, mufti allowances, gitluity allowancoc, and allowances to nospiial oul-patient6. also tho rcd-uction obtained by the Association on passage money for soldiers Gidcoob from England.
