Bellamy reported that the river' at Herring Bay had, during the past few years, made serious encroachment, and the matter waa of grave import. Cr. Bellamy was appointed to wait upon the Drainage Board at its next meeting and lay before the Board his findings. Cr. Bellamy gave notice that he would move at the next meeting of the Council: "That etepe be taken to make tho B&whiti Domain Board as now constituted a body separate and apart from the Borough Council."

On the motion of Cr. Bellamy, it was resolved that a Beach Improvement Committee bo formed, the members to be appointed from - the Council. Cr.
