IN GERMANY.
GOVERNMENT TOTTERING. (By Gable.—Prees A««ociation.—Copjrigkt.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received June flth, 8.5 p.m.) LONDON. Juno 8. Tlio Berlin correspondent of tho "Daily Chronicle" states that owing'to domestic quarrels tho Sclieidomann Government is weakening every hour. It is significant that the Majority and Independent Socialists supported tho Communists of Berlin (tho Workers' Council) in protesting against Dr. Levion's execution. The Majority Socialists meet at Weimar on Tuesday. It is believed that they nro anxious to rid themselves of tho bourgeoisie clement, which is behind tho Government, and the military influence which is increasingly apparent in the administration, consequently they are likely to disown tho Government- Tho indications aro that should the Government be overthrown the next administration will he a dictatorship representing the proletariat and, ultimately, Sovietism on tho ono hand, or the reactionary elements of the Army on tho other hand. UNFORTUNATE HAPPENING. (Received June Oth, 10 p.m.) LONDON, Juno 9. According to the "Daily Chronicle's'' Berlin correspondent, Lieutenant Marloch, who was accusod of ordering the execution of thirty-two sailors during tho Berlin troubles in March, has escaped from prison. This fact, following so closely tin Vogel's ©scape, has told disastrously on tho Government's authority.
