Kidd, N.Z.M.C., who was yesterday appointed resident medical ofijicer, Ashburton Hospital graduated M.8., Ch.B., at Dunedin in September, 1915, taking a high place both in the cxass and professional examinations. After graduating he was appointed house surgeon to the Christchurch Hospital, which position lie relinquished at the end of a venr to proceed with the N.Z.E.F. He was for several months with the N.Z. No 1 Stationary Hospital at Amiens, and Mien with the First Field Ambulance until he was wounded at Messines. When convalescent he. returned to New Zealand and for the last eighteen months he has been assistant to the Director of Medical Services in Christchurch. Di\ Kidd is 32 years of a<nand unmarried.
