The Australian Prime Minister lias had thousands of letters from soldiers of tho Commonwealth putting before him little grievances which the men desired to bo remedied. Not long before the Armistice ono man sent him a sample of cookery from a depot in England, with tho following letter: —"Dear ill"Hughes,—Can you seo a chanco of the var finishing? If not, for heaven's sake send a cook along. The cook here U an undertaker by trade.''
