Frederick Plimm was oharged. with drunkenness and with travelling in a railway carriage between Christchurch. and 1/yttelton witiiouL having previously paid the proper fare. For drunkenness he was fined . 10s, and on the other charge £5, or one month's improeonment. THE PICTUBES. "The Eternal Temptress," starring Len«. Cavaliera, was presented at the Harbour Light Picture Theatre on Saturday, and will be repeated to-night. Two motion picture dramas, ,- Tho Third Ingredient," and. - "The Landloper," in addition to th© seventh episode of "The Eagle's Eye" (serial) will be screened "to-mororw. BOWLING. A challongo match between the Lyttelton. and Diamond Harbour Clubs took place on Saturday afternoon at Diamond Harbour.- A most enjoyable afternoon was spent.
