LADIES' ASSOCIATION. Tho Canterbury Lrudica' Hockey Association's competitions were commcnccd on Saturday iu fine weather. Results:— FIRST GRADE. Oxford terrace defeated Technical by 5 goa-la (scored by Hisses H. Thompson 3, E. Ilobbs, and I)e Luen) to nil. M r H. Rogers wae referee. The match between Wharcnui and Sydenham ended in a draw. 2 goals each, ecored by Misses B. Jarden for Sydenham, and E. j Ashworth and A. Rosaiter for "VVhaienui. Mr J. J. Adams was referee. Waiinain defeated Digbv's by 3 goals (ecored by Mioses E. Barr 2, and E. Pryde) to l.il. Mr P. P.ydo was referee. The game between Ngaio and Christchurch Training Collego ei>ded in a draw, 2 goals each, scored by Miss Scrimshaw for C.T.C., and M.issce Taylor and Mullen for Ngaio. Mr J. Bugg wae referee. .JUNIORS. Sydenham defeated Ngaio by G goals(scorcd by Misses K. McGrath 2, Ovcrend, H. Down, Holmes, and Blair) to 1 (shot by Miss Copeland). Mr H.' B. Luxton was re'j'he match between Dijby'a and Gilbys ended in a draw, 2 goals cach, ecored by Miss G. "White for Digby's, and Mis# Parsons for G : lby's. M r T. Hartigau was referee.
