I am told that the German Military Headquarters had a secret report on tho fighting qualities of all the Divisions of tho Allied armies on the "Western front (writes a London correspondent). The division that stood first on this list as tho one most- to be feared was a famous London Territorial Division. It helped'to hold tho line at Arras in. that bitter week commencing March wist, 1918. It never rjave ground then or at any time. It -was many times decimated, but never yielded a yard in defence or failed to carry its objective in attache. Londoners may well gory ia tho fact that it wns undoubtedly a London Territorial Division that was most dreaded by the Huns.
