RIFLE SHOOTING.

R.S.A. CHAMPIONSHIPS. The Chnatchuica Returned Jsoidicra' Association's annual rifle meeting was held at the Redcliffs ran go on Saturday, proved a big success. Tho entries were good, and although a strong south-west wind blow dbwn tho range in the morning, and wintry condition with occasional rain prevailed in the afternoon, some good shooting resulted. A sweepstake and a. service match wore fired in the morning, and the championship, comprising four matches, was decided in the afternoon. A gold and silver medal formed the prize in each of the events' excepting the sweepstake, and a gold medal was presented to the man who secured the highest aggregate 'in the championship matches, 'lie championship weiit to ' Rifleman S. Hill, with an aggregate of 82, Rifleman D. McKenzie being runner-up with 79, Rifleman J. F. Coombor third with 78, and Sergeant-Major G. W. O'Sullivan fourth with; 77. Riflemen Y. M. Edgar and E. R. Hudson made very efficient range officers. Following were the results, with the leading scores:—

Sgt.-Major OSullivan (23) was counted out. CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES. No. 1 Match, 5 shots at 200 yds, slow fixe. — Sgt.-Major O'Sullivan 25 (possible). Rifleman F. B. Wright 21, Rifleman H. D.
