EPIDEMIC COMMISSION.
OPENING SITTINGS IN CHRISTCHURCH. The members of the Royal Commission set up to enquire into matters connectcd with and arising out of tho recent influenza opidemic, arrived in Christchurch on Saturday. Tho commission consists of Sir John Donniston (chairman)', Hon. E. Mitchelson, and Mr D. McLaren. Mr 3. Spragg is secretary of the commission. Tho opening sitting of the commission will bo held in the Military Service Board room, New Government Departmental Buildings, Worcester street, at 10 o'clock this morning. The usual sitting hours have been 10 a.m. till 1 p.m., and 2.30 p.m. till 4.30 p.m. It is not known how long tho Christchurch sitting will extend, but the commission will remain in the city for a weok.
