WELLINGTON, March 22. A sports meeting, under the joint control of the Victoria College and Wellington Amateur AtWotio Club, was held this afternoon on the Basin-Itasorve. There a good attendance. The provincial championship events resulted; —100 yds, N. A, Barker (Victoria College), time 10 2-sth see. One Mile Flat, B. J. Bell (Wellington), time 4min 51 l-sth see. High Jump, 11. S. Wliyte (Wellington), sft 2in. 220vda, X. 'A. Barker, time 24aec. Long Jump, G. Brett (Wellington), 19ft sin. 440 yds, Gj H. Duels (Victoria College), time 56 l-sth eec. ■
