INFLUENZA CASES
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.)
AUCKLAND, March 3
Tho Dcfcnco authorities have been advised that 58 cases of influenza have occurred amongst the men of draft No. 219. on tho steamer Port Melbourne. Tho eases developed since tho vessol left England, but, so far as is known, none is serious. Should an extended period of quarantine bo necessary,' the mon will bo quartered at Motuihi island.
