RAILWAY WORKERS.
STRIKE IN ENGLAND. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received January 7th, 10.10 p.m.) LONDON, January 6. Owing to removal of the South Coast Railway Company's works at Brighton to Lancing, the employees struck, demanding payment for time to and from work. 1 A general strike has been ordered. It is believed that tho Crewo and Swindon railway workers are striking to-day.
