The Canterbury Pigeon Flying Club flow off a race from "Woodyille, 71 birds taking SJiipton's Et'J'Ori&anist, 1043 yards per minute; F. Kingsford's Grand Duke, 1042 yards per minute; H. Pearson's No. 289, 1036 yards per minute; B. Finnegan'a Gabrie-lle, 1035 yards per minute; F. Wilson's No. 194, 1035 yards per minute-; D. Core's Fiery Cross, 1033 yards per minuto;" W. Cummings's Kewpie, 1033 yards per minute; H. Browning's No. "1, io'to yards per minute; AV. Blanchard's No. 6GG, 1028 yards per minute; C. Shaw's No. 7.5, 1006 y-ards per minute. • A race was also flown from Pal mere ten North, G6 birds taking part. Tho winner turned up in F.
