DISTRIBUTION OF PHIZES. The annual breaking up and distribution of prizc3 to tho scholars of the 'i'ai Tapu School was held recently. There v-aa a good attendance of parents, and Mr T. 0. Morgan, chairman of the committee, presided. In accordance -with, the usual custom, every child received a book, and other prizes were as follows: — Standard Vl.—Proficiency certificates: Helen Jones. The Red Cross work for the year was as follows: —261 dozen handkerchiefs, pairs lied soc?;s, 11 scarvei, 4 faco cloths, 1 jug cover, 1 trcasuro kit. During the -e:ir the Young Helpers' Leaguo contributed £10 to Dr. Barnurdo's Hemes.
