THE SONS OF TEMPERANCE LODGE, ctwentieth annual meeting of tho °° c b ° f Temperance Lodge was held in Chrastchurch on Friday, the business oontmsncing at 9.30 a.m. The roll call showed only throe absent. Officers and delegates were received from Wellington, Wanganui, f^ 1 Reports were received from tho M.WP and the M.W.S. The balancesheet, which proved tho Order to be in a perfectly eound position, was dealt with and approved. A motion was passed,' voioing the great gratitude felt for the deliverance from the great distresses of the past years. Officers elected were:—M.W.P. Bro J; A. Efford; M.W.A., Bro. S. H. Clothier:' M.W.S., 'Bro. J. W. Jones; MAV.T., Bro. F. Lucas; M.W.Chp., Bro. W. J' Gundy; M.W.Condct., Bro. F. W. Ansley; trustees, Bros. Ford, Innes, Harrison; M.W. Sentinel, Sister Devereaux; Supt. Juveniles, Bro. T. VV. Andrews.
