It was also suggested that interested ratepayers should be asked to contribute. _ It was resolved, to accept the tender of Messrs Nankivell and Lillcy ior sanitary work over an increased area at North ad West Brighton. It was agreed to appoint an inspector for three months to make a house-to-house -nspection of the borough with regard to sanitary matters. The treasurer reported as follows:—Receipts £392 36 7d, expenditure £405 5s 9d, balance general account cr. £61 6s, temporary loans account dr. £3035, South loan account cr. £473 6s Gd.
