SHORTAGE OF CREWS.
UNION COMPANY'S BOOKINGS.
(PKESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.)
WELLINGTON, December 17. Owing to the difficulty of obtaining crews, the Union Steam Ship Company announces that all tickets issued and bookings made are subject to full crews being cbtained to man the vessels. The uncertainty of obtaining hands is such that the company will only book passage.? on the day on which a vessel is set down to sail.
